- The Calsys terminal comprises a keyboard with 16 keys, LCD display (1 line of 16 characters), LED and buzzer
- Upon entering the room the staff enters his or her personal code
- All calls are sent to all terminals (with identification) where a staff presence is detected.
- When that person leaves the room, he or she again enters her personal code on the keypad
